CAPITTANA
Capittana, spanish word for "Female Captain", was founded in Lima, Perú by Raffaella Raffo in 2014. The product life cycle of Capittana promotes Women Empowerment. All of the products are hand-made by single mothers or women in high risk situations, to then pass on to peruvian artisans for the crochet details embedded in the garments. When you buy a Capittana, you are not buying a product, you are buying a piece of art.
